The maltese are a very elegant looking animal. Don't let their small size and regal appearance fool you. They are among the most fun loving, energetic and loyal breed of dog you could ever let take over your life!. They are just as happy romping around the house with the children as they are sitting in your lap while you're quietly reading a book. The maltese are excellent travel companions, the main ingredient in their happiness is being with you. They are excellent with children, my little Natalie is shown here giving my grand-daughter, Hannah a welcome smooch after Hannah's nap.
